“ Every child deserves the best possible start in life, with support to fulfil their potential ”
We are an 84 place day nursery for 0 – 5 year olds situated in the centre of Maidenbower, so we have easy access for the Maidenbower community.
We have three rooms; Babies, Toddlers and Preschool. The transitions to the following age groups is based on children’s holistic development and readiness. Babies room, is for the 0-18 month olds and it is dependent on the child as an individual when they feel comfortable to move on to the next room. Toddlers is for our 18 months to 3 year old children, and then Preschool is for our three year olds until they start school.
Outside the children get involved in lots of activities and we have a sand and mud pit, garden and safety surface area.
I have worked at Clover Court since 2010. I started in the baby suite with the experience of being a parent and then studied for my NVQ Level 3 and 4 in early years. I was excited to be appointed Team Leader in 2014 and quickly discovered that leading a team, was a completely different experience to being a team member and so decided to study my NVQ Level 5 in Leadership. In December 2017, I was appointed Deputy Manager and in September 2018, Manager. Clover Court, the families and team are really important to me. I love being here and working together with everyone to make this a great, high quality setting.
I began my career in childcare in 1991 when I came to England from Serbia to be an au-pair. I thoroughly enjoyed working with children and decided to gain formal childcare qualifications and completed the NNEB Diploma in 1996. Since then I have worked in a variety of settings, mainly in supervisory/ managerial roles and these include crèches, holiday play schemes, day nurseries and children’s centres. I obtained my BA (Hons) Degree in Early Years and Leadership in 2014 and have since then progressed in my career working as a Senior Manager and Area/ Regional manager roles; supporting, advising and coaching managers. I joined Childcare & Learning Group as Regional Manager in August 2018 and am really looking forward to working alongside senior management, managers and their teams. For the Cranbrook group of nurseries, I am the Regional Manager directly responsible for our Clover Court and Ivy Cottage settings.
We know that Cranbrook is only as good as the relationship between our staff and our customers (the big ones and the little ones!) and we plan to continue listening and responding to parents’ needs, quickly and effectively.
