“ Every child deserves the best possible start in life, with support to fulfil their potential ”

Clover Court Nursery

We are an 84 place day nursery for 0 – 5 year olds situated in the centre of Maidenbower, so we have easy access for the Maidenbower community.

We have six rooms in total, one room for the 0-14 months and it is dependent on the child as an individual when they feel comfortable to move on to the next room, which is for 14 months to 2 ½ year old children.

Outside the children get involved in lots of activities and we have a sand and mud pit, garden and safety surface area and for the 2 ½ -5 years old children we have a wooden maze.

Early childhood education and care has always been very important to me and a job I love. This grew even more when I had my own two children. There is nothing like having two children of your own go through child care settings to really put into focus the incredible responsibility and importance of our roles. My love of early years and parenting is what drives me to ensure we are delivering quality to the children in our settings. I commenced the role of Regional Manager for Childcare & Learning Group in August 2018, having previously been the Area Manager since January 2016, after many years working as Manager at Castle Nursery & Preschool in Guildford at our Markenfield setting. During my time as manager, I completed my B.Ed. in Early Years and then went on to complete my Masters in Early Years. For the Cranbrook group of nurseries, I am the Regional Manager directly responsible for our Clover Court and Ivy Cottage Settings.

I have worked at Clover Court since 2010. I started in the baby suite with the experience of being a parent and then studied for my NVQ Level 3 and 4 in early years. I was excited to be appointed Team Leader in 2014 and quickly discovered that leading a team, was a completely different experience to being a team member and so decided to study my NVQ Level 5 in Leadership. In December 2017, I was appointed Deputy Manager. I am delighted to be helping Louise manage this nursery. Clover Court, the families and team are really important to me. I love being here and working together with everyone to make this a great, high quality setting.

We know that Cranbrook is only as good as the relationship between our staff and our customers (the big ones and the little ones!) and we plan to continue listening and responding to parents’ needs, quickly and effectively.
