Our Ethos

To provide exceptional standards of care and education, and the nursery to develop its individual and unique character.

Therefore our nursery has an independent, community feel whilst benefiting from being part of a larger, highly regarded and regionally acclaimed  nursery group.

We are committed to working together to provide an enabling environment in which each child has the opportunity to become a happy, confident and  independent learner, who will achieve their full potential.

Nursery and Preschool Curriculum

Our Learn through Play pedagogy is made up of strategies, approaches, theories and techniques that influence how we teach and support the children to learn in our settings, dependent on their individual needs and stages of development. The curriculum will be unique to the setting and ensure all children make progress in the 7 areas of learning.

This will be supported by the opportunities and experiences on offer which you will see in our enabling environments, positive relationships and the learning and development of all children. Our main aim is to encourage all children to be independent, self-motivated learners and to be equipped with the resilience skills to deal with any challenges they may face.

We offer a variety of fun learning activities and experiences both inside and outside, utilising toys, arts and crafts, games, equipment and materials which develop the children physically, educationally and emotionally.
